Default Top Secret wheels straight from Japan...

I have my new wheels on order coming straight from Japan. Dont want to say what company just yet because I havent seen anyone running these... I've done a lot of searching and these are wicked to say the least.

Going with 18x8 in the front and 18x9 in the rear with a 50/50 offset. Getting the fronts on Mon. what sucks is I have to wait 2 months to get the rears. There coming on the next container overseas

Any recommendations for tire size? Also thinking about going with some Tein S Techs. (The real deal...not that fake sh**) Input anyone?

I would not go any bigger than a 215 front 255 rear, safe fitment tires. Also with that offset on the rear I would personally do some coilovers. With the drop of the Stechs, You may be close to rubbing. Coilover will help you get the maximum drop with adjustabilty of damper.

you can pull off a 225 in front. 18x8+50 is the bbs lm front fitment.. most run 225.

some negative camber will take care of any rub you may have.

The problem will be the rear with the 18X9 and 50mm offset. I would not go bigger than the 245/35R18 if you don't want any rubbing. You may still have to roll the fender lips.

I'm hoping the drop from the S Tech will be decent. Tein claims about a 1" drop in the front and in the rear (-.26mm/-.24mm)

I'll probably roll the rear if they rub. I have only done this on racecars when looks arent the most important factor but rather acheving more gap. (Some of us know that if your not patient you'll get some outstanding ripples=()

From my experience heating the paint and going fast with the roller works but I have not always seen the best results with this method.

Anyone want to add any tips that have helped you?

just make sure the paint is hot to touch, and then roll pretty quick, but little by little. lol top secret wheels.. i would honestly not waste money on springs.

also, if your getting these JDM fresh wheels, you might as well get some danky dank coilovers.

I wish I had the funds to get some coilovers but the rims alone are $3000.00 not including the shipping or tires.

I may have the option to go air freight for a 2 week delievery but its another couple hundred, plus tires, wheel locks, and springs (maybe some coilovers to go with the Japansese bling). I think I may have gotten the wheel bug....

I just dont want to put these on all to find out there is a grand canyon between my rubber and my bitches hip (fender).

I dont exactly have unlimited funds... does any one have any suggestions for a clean look with a budget.

Teaser Pics are coming soon........

255s with a 50mm offset will rub A LOT on stock height. Mine are 55mm offset, and just barely clear it.....Do NOT go wider than 245, and you will still rub without alignment.
