Default Too much stagger?

Hi guys,

Is having 7.5 up front and 9.5 at the rear too much stagger? What would be the effect of this?

Thanks!

^^^ you crazy. The handling depends more on tire size than anything.

Are you really saying throwing more wheel (and I think we can assume more tire) in the rear will cause the car to oversteer?

OP - what tire sizing were you planning on going with?

Yes, but it also matters about the tire size.
non staggered wheels less oversteering

^^^ thread is full of horrible advice. A non- staggered tire set up will cause the front end to grip more which means the rear will break loose before the fronts assuming the spring rates and sways are the same.

Non- staggered wheels have little to do with handling. It depends more on the tires than anything else.

Before you throw out stupid advice, please know what you're talking about.

Yes.

There is a ton of wrong info in this thread. Non-Stagger will promote more oversteer than stock. If you did a 7.5/9.5 setup with 215/255 tire setup, then that is the same tire sizing as oem CR. It's just about what you want.
