Default Tires for under $100

I'm looking to replace my rear tires. I need long tread life, but i do want a little stickyness too. What's a good tire that's around $100 per tire?

Also, how wide of a tire can I put back there before it causes a problem?

Thanks.

The Kuhmo Ecsta MX is right there in that price range..

Rear tire width is a huge debate, but it looks like you can go 245 to be about right

I've noticed that many people have started using those tires.
I've been looking at the Dunlop 8000 series and the Toyo T1-S tires.

discounttire.com directly from the warehouse, not through local retailer.

Any thoughts about the Kumho Ecsta Supra 712? Found them for 107.00 each. Couldn't find the T1-S or Dunlops 8000 or the Hankook SR2 for near $100 each.

discounttire.com directly from the warehouse, not through local retailer.
I checked www.discounttire.com and they didn't have 245/40-17 setup, only the 245/45-17 setup for $120.88. Is this what you bought for your rears?
