Default Tires for Emotion XT7: LAST QUESTION PLEASE CHECK

I'VE BEEN TOLD THAT THE 215/45/17 AND 245/40/17 ARE THE WAY TO GO, BUT WILL GETTING A 245/45/17 IN THE REAR LOOK THAT MUCH BIGGER OR WILL IT AFFECT WHETHER OR NOT I RUB? JUST WONDERING B/C THERE IS NO 245/40/17 OPTION FOR THE FALKEN AZENIS RT615 AND I REALLY WANT TO GO WITH THOSE!

thanks

I would do the 215/45R17 front and 245/40R17 rear. If I can help with the tires let me know.

what can you recommend that's summery but not to the point where i'll die if i go out in the rain? i'm looking to spend ~100 per tire

my current Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Positions allow me to drive like a madman in the rain and still retain traction, which i love about them.

the 225/255 set up would have a little bulge on those sizes and its hard to find a tire that has ultra high dry grip and wet traction that is around $100. you cant have both...if you liked the RE960AS then get them again, but they're not going to have the "summery" traction like the RE050, RT615, etc.

screw the RE960AS cause i barely even drive when it's inclement weather out...i'll just get something more geared toward summer driving.

thanks for the help on the sizes! looks like 215/45/17 and 245/40/17 are the only way to go for these wheels
