tires for ap1

I have S02s on my track wheels (stock 16"s), and I have Fuzion ZRis (running 245 in the rear instead of stock spec 225) on my daily wheels.
I have to say the extra meat on any non-S02 tire in the rear makes up for the HUGE width difference caused by Bridgestone's measuring.
The ZRis are great in the rain, and for what they cost, they handle really well. Treadwear is rated at 320, and after going through about 10K miles with a lot of hard driving, the inside did not wear anything like I thought they would. Overall treadwear is great, I would say the fronts I have will get me another 15K, after about 10-12K already.
I would like to do a same track session comparsion of having the S02s on, then the ZRis with 245s out back just for kicks. When I had the 225 ZRi on at the road course, they were not even in the same league as the S02. The S02s are like glue...

I am running FK-451's. I love them. Run them on my Mustang also. They aren't as sticky as the SO2's but are way better than the SO3's and will last longer too. They are excellent in the rain. You can go through 10 inches of water at 55 and still have perfect control. You will just slow down quickly as your forward motion is transferred into sending the water rushing out from under your tires and sometimes spraying 20 feet away hard. They are terrible in the snow. SO2's are actually better for that.

Also, no summer tire is good in the snow.
