tires for 18x8 front and 18x9 rear wheels?
hi i just bought some rims that were 18x8 front and 18x9 rear...but im not sure on what tire width and size to get..can anyone please help? thank you

haha thanks, great now i got the first part done....anyone know what size tires i need for the rear? 18x9.... and also, should i stick with a 40 series tire for the front..or can it even go low to a 35 series for a thinner look?

rubbage depends on how well your wheels will fit the car. if you have an offset lower than +50 on the front, you will rub with a 225 tire*. for the rear, you need something greater than +55.
* this also depends on the tire brand, how squared off the tire is... i only have experience with bridgestone so3 tires, and i rubbed on stock ride height, 225/40/18 SO3 tire on a wheel with +48 offset.

it all depends on offset.
i had the option to get 18X8 or 18X7 for the front with 45 offset. I went with the 18X7 on a 225/40/18 and i don't rub at all. I'm glad i went with the 18x7 instead of the 18X8 cause that would have rubbed for sure.
my rears are 18X9 with a 55 offset and 255/35/18 an it rubs only during full suspension travel. I also have a 2.2 degree camber on the rear.
