Tire width question. (Not on stock wheels)
I currently have a set of 18x7.5 wheels.
The section width of the tires on there now is 9.1", and a tread width of 7.7". The wheels look like the could fit a slightly wider tire. I would like to put wider tires on the rear. My question is, do you think a tire with a section width of 10.2", and a tread width of 8.2" would fit?
Thanks,
-Zach

You don't say what the tire width is currently nor the offset of the wheel. With the 7.5 width you have to stay fairly narrow on the tires. Let me know and I can check.

The current tire is a Falken Azenis with a size of 225/40-18. I got the tread and section width from Falken's website. The wheels are 5Zigen 18x7.5 with an offset of +43 (so 5Zigen says).
I want to run the same size front tire as I have now, but would like to put on a wider tire in the rear. I was looking at the Goodyear F1 GS-D3, and wanted to get 225/40-18 for the front, and either 255/35-18 or 245/35-18 for the rear. I am pretty sure the 245's would fit, but not too sure about the 255's.
