I just replaced the stock wheels/tires after 16k miles, and was wondering how my tire wear compared to others. It seems like I still have quite a bit of tread left on the front, and enough to safely drive on the back. Since I've seen other posts complaining about only getting 5k miles out of the rears, I guess I must be driving like a little old lady

when I replace my stock tires at 17K miles. they are much more flat than yours, I almost can't see any tread left.
I think yours still have quit alot tread left

Hehe,

I replaced my tires at just under 12K. My roomate said that I had alot of tread left on those tires compared to say.... a bowling ball

The fronts had better tread left, but as has been well discussed here in the past they were actually worse in the grip department as they'd been heat-cycled to death and I'd noticed them going off since about 7,500 miles.
