Default tire tire size

I was just reading the thread about rear tire sizes. Would there be a big difference if you run a 225/40 front tire with 245/35 rear compared to running 225/40 f and 255/35 rears on an 18 in rims? Does it compromize anything (i.e. handling) if i would go for the 245/35 rears instead. i'm planning to drop it soon that's why i'm curious

It would be no problem with the 225/40R18 and 245/35R18. In fact the 245/35R18 is a better fit depending on the offset of the wheel.
If I can help let me know.

If you could run it to that setup, how bout 215/40f and 245/35r. Would it be a better set-up since their almost the same diameter on an 18 in rims with a not bad offset? (+50 f and +47 rears).
