Tire suggestions for Volk 18" rims
It's time for me to change the rear rubber. I've got a set of Volk SF-Challenge that are 18 inch x 8.0 with an offset of +.48
I've ran the Eagle F1s (245/35z R18 88Y) to their end and I must say I didn't really like these tires. Could you guys suggest some better rubber?
Is it feasible to put 255's on this rim or do I need atleast a +.50 offset? How would it affect the appearance and fender clearance if at all possible?
Also, I plan on keeping the Eagle F1's I have on the front until those wear down... any reasons against doing this?
Cheers!

you cannot run a 255 on all 4, due to the tire being to big on the 8" wheel. It is do-able, but your car will "float" when driving, and youre tire guy will hate you. 245-35's all around would be best for your sake.
As for re-using the fronts, that will be okay.

I didn't mean to confuse, but I do not want to have all four tires the same.
I currently have 225 on the front on the same rim... though I am unsure about the offset of it at the moment...
I guess the question is, 225 on front with 255 on rear... but you've answered that already by saying I should run 245 on the rear...
