Tire storage question
I've just received my new Khumos from Tire Rack and with my winter tires I now have three sets of tires for my S. Obviously I'm not using the Alpins right now (they're off rims too) but I'm not sure how unused tires should be stored. I've got them in my garage on a shelf which is about 2' from the ceiling. Will storing them where they could be potentially in 90+ degree, dry temperatures for months be bad for them? Should I put them in the basement? (a little more moisture but much cooler) I'm mostly concerned with them dry rotting in the garage, especially since they cost more than my Khumos!

The extreme heat will be bad on the tires. If you have room in the garage it would be the best option. Put the tires inside a big garbage bag and tie them off. Stack them one on top of the next and keep them away from the heater and air conditioner.
That is all you have to do.
