So, right now i'm running 17x9 +38 in the rear with asm fender flares..my question is, if i'm going to lower or "dump" the car with coilovers should i stick with a 255/40/17 tire or go down to a 245/40/17to be safe? the inner lip of the fender flare will also be shaved down.

did you cut away some of the metal? If so i wouldnt see why you couldnt dump it, those are not ultra aggressive wheel/tire specs

 

yeah those fit on stock body easy those will clear no problem with 255's on overfenders

 

alright thanks for the help...just needed to double check..and yes i did cut the quarterpanel and the inner lip of the overfender is being cut.
