Tire sizes for 8,5x17" front and 9,5x17 rear
Yes, this is another thread about tire sizes... I'm currently running 7,5x17" ET48 front, and 9x17" ET45 rear. On these I have used 225/45-17 front and 255/40-17 rear. My rear fenders/quarter panels are rolled, but front are unmodified. Now I have ordered new wheels. They will be 8,5x17" ET42 front, and 9,5x17" ET44 rear. What would be the best tire sizes for these? Would 225/45-17 and 255/40-17 still be the best? I at least think so for the rear, as 265 will be hard to get. I also count on that I will need to at least roll the inner fender tabs for the front, but hope to still be able to use them with the inner fenders. Does anyone have any recommendations for tire sizes here? Especially the front I'm thinking of. It slightly rubs the inner fenders in the front on harsh bumps as it is, so I guess a 235/40-17 won't be any better there and maybe to big difference compared to the rear tires(2,58%)? Thankful for all help/tips.
Edit: The car is lowered approximately 1,5inches I think (coilovers).
