Default Tire size OK?

My S02's have are about done in the rear and need some new tires. Picking some up today.

I just wanted to double check before getting them, that these are the sizes I should be getting on a stock AP1 rim.

225/50/16 - Front
245/45/16 - Rear

TIA

You never stated the brand of tire you plan to get next. If you are getting the OEM S02s, then this is the wrong size.

You'll probably want to stay with a 205/55-16 up front no matter the brand/type. 245/45-16 is a proper size for most rear tires other than the stock SO-2.

People who run the 225/50 up front usually are using stiffer front swaybars.

After reading the FAQ for a second time. It looks like 205/55/16 (F) 245/45/16

The Proxes would be 1000% better than theose POS Goodyears.

You may want to see if you can get Kumho or Falken's in that size as the Proxes 4's are ok tires at best.

Tirerack has been showing nothing available the last few times I've searched for ultra high performance and max performance summer tires in 205-55/16 and 245/45-16. I know you can get hankook RS2s in those sizes at edgeracing.com and discounttiredirect.com. Might be worth a look.

Check again, those are both very common sizes.
