Default Tire Size Assistance Needed

Front Wheel 17x7.5 45mm offset
Rear Wheel 17x8.5 48mm offset

Can I do

225/45-17 Front
255/40-17 Rear

Without rubbing?

Or is

215/45-17
245/40-17

the way to go?

Thanks!

With OEM suspension and assuming original tires are 215/45R17, you can do both, 215/45R17 and 225/45R17. The same goes for the rear. Assuming 245/40R17, you can do both 255/40R17 or 245/40R17.

Go to http://www.rims-n-tires.com/rt_specs.jsp and double check-it.

With those offsets, I'd stick with the 215/245 combo, you'll be fine at stock height and have some room for a drop.
The 225/255 is going to have substantially reduced clearance, it'll probably be OK at stock height, but you MAY rub with any drop.
