Default Tire size

I just ordered my 18s.
Initially I ordered
225/35/18 for front with 18x7.5 +42
224/40/18 for rear with 18x8.5 +50

the wheel shop didn't have the front tires in stock and instead of waiting for two more days, I ordered
225/40/18

To sum up, I got 40 profile for front instead of 35.
Do you guys think that I did wrong by going with 40??
Or is it fine to go with 40 profile??

I'm confused about your numbers.... I sure hope you mean 245 for the rears, but even with that I dont think you got the right tire sizes.

I just recently got tires and these are the sizes I got.

Front: 18x7.5, 48 offset - 225/40
Rear: 18x8.5, 48 offeset - 245/35

the 35 profile on the rear rear is the closest you can get to the stock wheel/tire diameter on 245s

BNavZ is correct. You should have 225/40R18 front and 245/35R18 rear.
