Default Tire recommendations

Rear are Bridegstone RE 760 255/35/18 The wear rating is 340
Front are Nitto 555 225/40/ 18 wear rating 300
Volks are 8.5 rear and 7.5 front
These are the tires that were on the car when I bought it.
The rears were new, lasted about 8k miles. Probably would have lasted a bit longer if not for camber wear.
Looking to replace all four, maybe not at the same time but pretty close together.
I'm a spirited driver ( like it's possible not to be), do a little auto X, and would like to do a a few track days.

I run Neo Gen's on my hatch and like them quite a bit, but I don't hear much about them on S2k's... any thoughts?
Recommendations are welcome.
Thanks in advance.

Star specs. If you're not comfortable with a 220 thread wear, go with the Michelin Pilot Super Sports...pricey, but worth it.

quick question, would a pair of 235/45/17 potenza re50 mounted on some 17x7.5 +50 volk re30 clear the front without rubbing? I kind of bought the tires on impulse, plus they were dirt cheap...............
I have some staggered te37, I have 17x7.5 +45 in the front with some 225/40/17 dirriza tires and the clearance is perfect so I figured 235 might be acceptable. I dont plan on being hella slammed, I might drop the front 1/4 inch from it's current stance

Your current tires are fairly mediocre, so most anything will be an improvement in performance. The Star Spec/Pilot Super Sport recommendation was a solid one. Both of these tires are about the best you can get at their respective price points.
