Tire Puncture Questions
I have 2 questions regarding a punctured tire:
1) I have a puncture in my rear tire, so I put the spare in the front and placed the front tire in the rear. One of my rears is a 255/40/R17 and the front is a 225/45/R17. Can I drive a moderate distance (~30 miles) without damaging the differential?
2) Is it worth repairing high performance tires (I have Sumitomo HTR ZIII's)? I know our tires endure higher stresses and am afraid of a blowout.
Thanks!

Over a mile, one tire will make two more revolutions than the other. You should be fine to drive 30 miles.
I've had Star Specs (extreme performance tires) patched and I used them at the track. You'll be fine patching them.
