Tire pressure gauge
For those that uses pressure gauges (probably everyone), how accurate are those thing suppose to be?
I have the round one. Couple days ago when I was checking up on my pressure, I found out that my gauge were off as much as 10 psi. Does these things go bad after certain amount of time? I live in Florida, and I was guessing that maybe the heat may have messed up the tension of the spring which throws off the reading. I'm not sure that if I have one that is bad to begin with, or it slowly went bad.
I'm the type of guy that checks the pressure once a month, and if that's the case, I've been running on improper psi for at least six months. And yes, I do the checking when its cool.

i like the digital gauges... they do require battery changes every once in a while, but they seem more accurate to me.
have not heard of a gauge off by 10 psi- i would trash that baby!!
