Default Tire pressure always 32 psi?

I have an 08 s2k and I just mounted 255/40/R17 Sumitomo htr zIII on the stock rear rims (stock tires were Bridgestone Potenza Re050 245/40/R17). Is the ideal pressure still 32 psi cold? Does the ideal pressure ever change with tire size? Thanks!

Yes, 32 PSI should be a fine tire pressure for any daily driver no matter what the tire size.

No such thing as "ideal tire pressure" by the way, theres no best tire pressure for every situation. But 99% of the manufactured recommended pressures are fine. But if you race or autox you learn to fine tune your tire pressures to obtain the maxiumum performance.

haha, yep tire rack ftw, more information than you'd ever what to know about tires. Where all other tire companies don't come close.
