Default Tire pressure for 18s

I just got a set of 18'' rims. What's the recommended tire pressure?
Thanx

40psi. Correct me if I am wrong, but that is what I have been told by tire expert.

40psi!!! Thats way too much. I had 34psi in my tires for about 2 months and the center of the tire is showing much more wear than the outer areas. This means i had too much air in my tire. Now that I dropped the pressure to 28psi the tire is wearing more evenly.

tire expert or not, heck, 40psi isn't ideal in anything I can think of. why not start what is recommended, which is the average of 32psi and work from there? you need to start there, and then make any notes as far as 'harsh ride' or 'handling characteristics' and then adjust from there. running anything.. especially 18"ers at 40psi will give you nothing but a harsh ride, and you'll never feel the sidewall flex over.

on a side note, how do i get more grip in the rear???

i.e. my car oversteers right now....can i counter that through tire pressure manipulation? at all??

i'd even consider rear sway bar replacement, if required....

what if i remove my digrappa x-brace from the front??

The correct answer for air pressure is run what Honda recommends for the car. The tire size does not change that. The air pressure in the tire is supporting the car and that did not change.

any xbrace does NOT increase or decrease understeer/oversteer characteristics, its only a chassis brace which provides the driver with better steering input.

you have to adjust your tire pressures to reduce oversteer characteristics since that is the only thing you currently have to adjust.
