Tire HELP! Ready to buy wheels!
Please help, I am going to purchase the wheels this weekend and just want to get some validation/information from the experts here. The wheels I'm getting are 18x8/+48 front and 18x9/+50 rear. I plan to lower the car about 1.5" and want to have stock alignment specs. Currently do not have rolled fenders.
What tire sizes would keep the same overall diameter? 225/40 255/35?
Will I have rubbing issues with these tires given the circumstances above?
Which tires are recommended for max performance (currently have RS2's)? pzero neros, kdw2, m500, direzza, es100?
Thank you so very much! Help with ANY of the questions will be greatly appreciated!
JIM-would you please weigh in?
Thanks again!

I would say with the offset and the car lowered they are going to rub. You would have to run more negative camber and maybe roll the fender lips. If you wanted to possibly not do anything try the 245/35R18 rear and look at the BF Goodrich KDW2.
If I can help let me know.

Thanks for your input, Jim!
I was going to order the wheels with FK452s in 225/255, but after doing more research I have decided to wait and get some wheels with a proper 5x/6x offset. I found that the tread widths for the tires in 215/40, 245/35 (which may not have rubbed) were smaller than the rim widths and didn't like the idea of stretching tires.
