Tire Fitment Question

Tire Fitment Question
Hi there,
I recently purchased an 02 AP1 that came lowered on Buddy Club coilovers (low but not too slammed), and RPF1 wheels (17x7 front, 17x8 rear).
Looking to buy new tires as the current ones are bald, and I do NOT want to do any fender mods.
I talked with Jim at Tire Rack and he suggested 215/45-17 front and 245/40-17 rear. He has sold several of these setups with no issues, but recommended that I post here to confirm.
Can anyone confirm that this setup will NOT rub on my current vehicle?
Thanks in advance.

A lot depends on the brand & model of tire you choose. Some tires are a lot wider than others even though the size on the sidewall is the same. Check Tire Racks spec section to find the sizes.
For example: the tread width on my front 215/45/17 RE11 tires is 8", the 215/45/17 RE050 is 6.7".
My RE11 fronts rub a little with a less aggressive wheel than what you have. I'm running 17x7.5 +50 front wheels, 1" drop and stock camber specs. My set of RE050 on the same wheels doesn't rub at all.
The rears shouldn't rub.
