Default Tire fitment help 17" rims

What is the best/largest size tire I can get on these 17 inch rims??

Back-17X9.0 +63 offset
Front 17X7.5 +50 offset

Will these sizes and offsets work well on the S2K??

Those are pretty good widths/offsets.

I am running a similar setup with 225/45 front 255/40 rears for my R compounds.

Anyone else have input? Can I run a 265/40 in the rear without rubbing?

Victoracers.

Love 'em - I'm not fast enough or $$$ enough to justify Hoosiers.

The S2000 is sensitive to tire diameter, if you go much bigger than stock you will feel the loss in acceleration. 2004 stock sizes are tough to beat, they fit perfectly and handle great.

I would go with 225/45R17 and 255/40R17. With the 265 in the rear you will raise the height and creat more understeer. I don't see the need.
If I can help let me know.

THANKS for all the help guys!
I'll probably be talking to you soon Jim, to discuss tire brands. The SO3's sound like the best, but because of price I might go with the Yokahama 100's. I still got to order the Volk LE28N's in gunmetal, for my sebring first!

If you don't pony up the $$$ for the SO3s - I'd recommend the Kumho MX. Very sticky and pretty well priced.
