Hey Jim,

When it says tiretread wear rating is 300, what exactly does that mean? Is 300 the higher or lower end of the scale? And what is your candid opinion on the Yokohama Parada, specifically compared to the Kumhos? Your input greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The higher the number the longer the wear. The only problem is the treadware ratings can not be used outside the individual brand. If you have a question on a specific tire let me know.
Thank you

The treadware numbers are put on the tires by the mfg. of the tire. It is not a standard test. So what is 200 mith Dunlop is not 200 with Bridgestone. The rubber compound is different on differnet tires but they may not be softer. The higher treadware number may acually handle better.
I hope this helps.
The Yoko tire does come with the roadside assistance.
Check with whoever you bought the package from.
