S02 is the best for your driving... little rain and mostly dry... stick with the S02s, you'll most likely be disappointed with all else... too much noise, too short life, not enough dry grip, etc.

[QUOTEI think the S-02s handle great in the rain. [/B][/QUOTE]
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??
I beg to differ in a big way on the wet handling of the S-02's.
On a trip to North FLA, there were two instances where the car got sideways at 65-70 miles an hour (not a pleasant experience) with only a small bit of water on the roads. This started the gears upstairs working on what tire would replace the S-02's. Since I'm in FLA and it rains pretty much non-stop over the summer, I'm giving a little on the performance side and going with a harder rubber with much more wet traction/ water dispersing properties (RE730). I was happy with the RE-10's on my Type R and got 25K out of those, so maybe these will be just as good.

Bud,
My rear tires were worn out in less than 15K miles. We get a fair amount of rain in Myrtle Beach and it just lays on the roads so I went with Firestone Firehawk SZ50EP on the rear and I am happy with them. I like the tread design and am hoping that the tread wear will be much better than the stock tires. The handling is fine even in heavy rain and there is no discernible difference in noise. i.e no squealing when cornering or hum when cruising.
