For those of you with Yokohama AVS ES100, what do you think of them?

Yokohama makes great tires - to say they're the same as "Sears" brand or something is (no offense to S Outlaw) retarded. Ever try some A032s?

I got less than 8000 miles off the rear and then sold the fronts, street driving only.

I am barely pushing 10K miles, and the wear bar is showing on the rears already. I drive a little fast at times, but nothing drastic. I bought these tires with the understood knowledge that they would last longer than the S02's or 3's. These are some things I noticed about the tires during my brief ownership: These tires are MUCH louder than the S02's. The wet weather handling is significantly better than the S02's. They don't handle near as well in dry weather, and don't hug the road as well in corners. For daily driving, they handle great.

If you are trying to save a few bucks by getting these, then think again. I am looking for rears quicker than I ever did with the S02's. Honda choose those tires for a reason, and I am going back to them!

Just my $.02

I bought a set of these when I need something fast and cheap and it turns out they are not all that bad. A bit too much tread squirm when new so they really don't come into their own until 3 or 4K miles (unless you get them shaved) but I am happy with them. I may not buy them again but have no regrets.. best budget tires I have ever bought.
