For those running Kumho MX tires on 17" rims, what are your tire pressures?

Reduced the pressure on my 225/50/16 MXs to 28 after wearing the center through on the AVS E100s in 7500mi at 32.

hyperrpm, I run 36PSI same as you. With no other changes going from OE to MX's on 17X8's and 17X9's ride was definately softer, with a noticable increase in sidewall roll under hard cornering when run at 32PSI. Heard somewhere that Kumho sidewalls flex more than some, so I increased to 36, and have run mine that way for about 5500 miles or so. Wear is even across tread, no problems.

I was wondering about this recently. My ES100's also wore down the middle and lowering the pressure has helped I think. On my Pontiac Vibe I recently went from 88 to 91 load rating. Should I change the pressures from the stock 32 psi all around? How was the above chart calculated??

The chart above is calculated from Honda's recommended tire pressures on the OE Bridgestone tires.
If the centers are wearing out prematurely on your tires at 32 psi , lower your air pressure to 29 psi.

Chart above doesn't apply to MX on 17's so ignore it. If you run 32 psi and lower on MX's, you'll wear the sides faster than the middle and sidewalls won't be as stiff. Just getting a consensus on what everyone else ran and my assumption was correct.

I'm at 36 (cold) with my 17" 225/45 & 255/40 but it definately doesnt handle as good as stock 16s with SO2's. Seems like it's riding on an edge when I corner hard - kinda twitchy & unpredictable, plus not great grip. Is this addressable by air pressure? Am I sensing oversteer? Should I try the big tires on the back instead ? I'm by no means a hardcore driver, but I drive 'assertively+' on the street.
