Will 265/35 work on a 18x9 rim +68mm Rear? And a 225/40 on a 18x8 rim +56mm Front?
With those offsets you should be "Boba-Ok" With 68mm in the rear you should be able to go even wider than 265.
What kinda wheels you looking at?

I ordered those Work Meister S1 3 peice in black, remember? I'm looking to put some Advan A048's on the wheels. That's why I was asking if a 265/35 will fit, because 265/35 is the only size avaliable here for the Advan A048's. But Work recommends I put a 255/35 on the rear. A 265/35 should work.
Thanks Simon!

ideal size is 255/35/18 in the rear. i run goodyr gsd3
I run the F1 GSD3's with 225/40's up front and 255/35's in the back.
The tread on the GY's looks absolutely awesome and I have received numerous compliments on it.
Those tires size drive very well, provide excellent stability and balance, and look good. Not too much sidewall. That is one reason I wouldn't get the Kuhmo's. Too much sidewall -- looks like a tractor tire on a car.
BTW, I was impressed wtih the GY road grip. I didn't expect it to be very good, in fact I told Jim at tirerack if he steered me wrong on these tires I would "never buy another damned thing" from him. Well, I was surprised and very happy with how sticky they are!!!

By the way, 265 on the rears should work as there's plenty of clearance. The only thing you might need to look into is the effect on the speedometer. But then again I don't think it's that much different. (Maybe +/- 5 mph effect ?)
