Default Thinking of New Wheels!

Ok,
So I have decided that I want to go with a more aggressive look for my AP1 with a staggered fitment!

I want to get a set of wheels that are going to have about a 1inch lip in the front, and a 1 1/2-2inch lip on the rears. I want to do this with out possible rolling the fenders!!!

My ideal wheel sizes are 18x7.5 front, and 18x8.5 rears.
225/40/18 fronts
265/35/18 rears

If anyone has an S2K that has done a fitment with what i'm looking to do please do let me know!!!!!

Thank You!!!!

Well, you can probably use the stock offsets...think someone has put a 265 on an AP2 wheel. That wold be +65. But you can probably look at +55-+60 to be safe and slightly more aggressive. However, not sure about the lip sizes.

I would go 8.5" +55 or 8" +62 front and either 9" +62 or 9.5" +68 rear. That would give you a 34mm lip in the front and 46mm lip in the rear. I think 255/35 is a better option for the rear.

The reason why i ask is that I have a friend currently right running 18x9 +45

front and rear and he had to roll the fenders and pull. He had to pull the fronts more than the rears. Any tips on how not to crack the paint or at least limit the chances of the paint cracking. I have an 02 so i know the paint is old.

HEAT HEAT HEAT... Can't stress it enough.. I just got through with my fender work and whil most are okay with the "pulled" look.. I will be ordering downforce fenders shortly cuz its just a little too wavy for me!

Eh, not my style wheel...that'd go better on a BMW or something, not a sporty two door IMO

I wouldn't go with 8.5 up front if you don't want to roll your fenders. I would stick with no wider than 8", especially if you want to run a 225. I'd maybe do a 7.5 +48 to +55 up front if you really don't want to roll your fenders. If you look at this, an 8.5 +62 up front would extend only 12 mm, but give you 26mm less inner clearance. I am not sure whether that would cause inner rubbing but seems like it could be a risk.

8" +62 front and 9" +62 rear will not rub with 225/40 and 255/35 tires.
