Hey guys...
My baby right now is in the process of getting resurrected ... Too bad! N e ways, hopefully she'll come out bigger and badder than b4. I had 18" Volks TE37 on the car and a couple of them are not in useable condition. To be exact the Volks were 18X7.5 +48 ; 18X8.5 +50 ... using 225/35/18 245/35/18
Aight , here is the tricky part! I'm also using a 10mm spacer such that my rims can clear my spoon calipers. So with that said I want to upgrade my rims to the 19" Volk TE37's and wanna know what custom offset sizing to get. I've talked to a couple of ppl who are using 19" rims with a 2" drop and some are doing the "pull fender" method (which i don't want) or they are using a 19" rim that is 8 " wide all round. using 235/35/19 tires all round. Claim to have no rubbing with a +35 offset! I'm confused now. I know what offset is and I know that if I have originally a +48 offset rim that needs a 10mm spacer to clear the brakes , it would mean that in reality I need a +58 offset rim. So would it be right to say that if I wanted to order some 19"s then I would say 19X8.5 +60 19X9.5 +60 ? 9.5 wide fit???
Kinda hard to purchase or order something and not having it fit!!!
Thanks Guys
