STR Wheels

Wow these rep companies are getting bold. I have some Kiowa (cheapo rays knock offs) on our fit and thought is was funny they stamped "designed in japan" but if these actually have that stamped on them they are liable for a lawsuit. There is no way a wheel that costs $130 is forged. I also wonder if they used a rays wheel for the photo with their center cap and if the actual wheel doesn't have the stamps.

Manga, I was thinking the same thing. They got some balls to do something like that. My brother actually seen these in person at a local wheel shop, and it did in fact have Rays Eng / Forged / Monoblock stamped on it. When he told me about it, I was thinking that there is no way that a set of forged wheels by Rays Eng are selling that cheap.

Holy crap that's insane. I see these things all over Craigslist at crappy wheel and tire places. Looking at their site it is amazing they don't have BBS stamped on their BBS reps. I wonder since Rays is a Japanese company if they can't go after them or something. While I don't have as big an issue as some with these rep companies this is blatant forgery and could lead to someone getting scammed. I wonder if one of the vendors that works with Rays can report these to them. That really should be stopped.

Supposedly Volk sold the CE28 mold right around when they discontinued the wheel and came out with all sorts of new models of CE28. These arent 100% facts but thats what I have heard. There has to be a reason why Volk hasnt tried to get them off the market.
