Stock rims for the 05 models
2005 model specs 17x7 front and the rear are 17x8. Can i put 225 at the front and 255 at the rear or is this pushing it. Right now the stock tires at the front are 225 45 17, rear is at 245 40 17. Any ideas?

Your specs are a little off. The stock wheels are 17x7 front, 17x8.5 rear. The stock tires are 215/45-17 and 245/40-17.
I am currently using Yokohama AD-07 tires, 225/45-17 and 255/40-17 with no interference problems, at stock ride height.
You should consider what the replacement sizes will do you your handling balance. You'll get a lot more front treadwidth, and only a little more rear treadwidth. My suspension setup compensates by using a much stiffer front stabilizer bar.
