Sticky tires!

Sticky tires!
I did do a search, but it pulled up a lot of threads that are 3+ years old.
Now to the present...
What dry condition tires are you guys using? I'm not looking for tires that excel in the wet. I recently put Bridgestone RE050A Pole Positions on my rear stock wheels, and they seem to work pretty good. But now I am running a 17" wheel all around, and want to put a better tire on them in the spring.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

Per my research and experience, I would stay the following listed below are the best you can buy (list is not in any particular order). Within these tires it is hard to say which are the best, some are better at this or that so it is a difficult judgement call. Stay away for RE050A, per my experience they are great daily drivers but horrible track tires.
Falken Azenis RT-615
Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec
Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R
Bridgestone Potenza RE070
Do your research on each of these and make your decision. A good place to start is at the tire rack website or something to that affect and look at their "Test results". I wish it was as clear as "this is the best" but its not that easy.
I would recommend picking up tires from either tirerack.com or discounttiredirect.com. I have gone through sooo many tires from road course racing its not even funny, and I would say from those sites you will get the best pricing/service.

If you search the Wheel & Tire forum, you'll find that many of us are liking the Bridgestone RE-01R and Dunlop Star Spec. I've had both and they seem pretty much identical in performance.
Try a 225 in the front and 255 in the rear.
