Im trying to figure out how did you only get 5k out of these tires? Are you constantly racing/tracking these?

I just ordered a set of Star Specs through Discount Tire. I don't know if they ordered them from TireRack or not, but they are definitely taking care of everything and are calling me when the tires arrive and they're ready to mount them.

I was curious about this too. I'm considering Star Specs for my next set, but maybe not now.

Is 5k normal mileage for these tires? Something doesn't seem right. Hopefully OP meant 15k.

Thanks for any input.

I got nearly 25k on my K-swapped Civic(s) with Star Specs so 5k cannot be reasonable unless the car was pure track/autocross or the alignment was FUBAR'd.

A few Auto-x and spirited driving sessions took there toll. These were great tires and I would definately recommend them.

hmm, yeah I came to the same conclusion a few months ago when trying to order through discount tire, apparently only available online through TR.
