Default Staggered vs. Non-Staggered

My S2000 is primarily a street car but it will be taken to the track a few times a year. I was wondering if it would be better to run a non-staggered setup for the wheels and tires to have better balance when cornering at high speeds. I'm weighing this setup against a staggered setup where the turn-in is sharper and more responsive. What are the advantages and disadvantages of both. By running a staggered setup be better for the street than a non-staggered setup?

Get some of the TR Motorsports 17 x 9 +63 wheels with sticky tires for track days and stick to stock for the street? With those wheels you shouldn't need to roll your fenders and I think I recall before shipping they are somewhere in the $650 range. Do you have an AP1 or AP2?

I have an AP2. I haven already decided on getting Enkei RPF1. So if I'm going for a square setup, I'm going to run 17x9 +45 offset all the way around. I will need to roll the rear fenders and pull the front.

Alot of folks here run non staggered on and off the street so I dont think there are appreciable differences between the two setups when you are on the street. I use my non staggered setup daily and its great. Huge plus point is that i can cross rotate my symmetrical tyres and get better longevity out of them.

Thanks for the response guys. I really like the idea of rotating my tires to save on tire costs.

Rotating tires isn't going to decrease what you spend on tires, it just makes it so that you replace all four at the same time.

How do you guys feel about staggered tires on non-staggered wheels?

its the even wear and the fact that I can have an even heat cycle on all 4 tyres at time. When I finish my AD08's i'll beable to know how much (if any) the longevity is increased.
