I have 18's but they have almost the same offsets. +50 & +55. I think that a 215/45/17 or a 225/45/17 and a 255/40/ 17 or a 265/40/ 17 will fit just right depending on the tire. Some tires are wider than others that are the same "size", some 255's are really like 265's Anyway, you will probably need to run -1 front & -2 rear camber to make it all fit with out a fender roll. Those are UK camber specs, its what I run, and works great. I have BFG N/T's, but it seems like not that many s2000 guys pick them. So I guess it really depends what you plan on doing with the car which tires you should get. DD, track, auto-X, cruise, show, etc...

i have 17x9 +60 in the rear with 265/40/17 falken fk452's and they rubbed until i ran -2.25 camber in the rear with fender rolling and a slight bumper tab relocation and also gotta shave off the edge of the bumper... hope this helps... but i had to do all that cause im lowered, if your lowered, you'll be fine... but if your lowered, then i'd go with 255/40/17's in the rear and 225/45/17 in the front... it'll be slightly stretched but should fit nicely..

then you'll DEFINATELY need to atleast roll your rear fenders... the fronts will fit without rubing. i have 17x7.5 +50 in the front with 5mm spacers and they dont rub, so you should be fine. i'm lowered on skunk2 springs which is about a 2 inch drop...
