Default SSR professor SP-1 and Toyo Proxes T1-S 225/40/18 Front 245/35/18 Rear ??

I ordert from SSR the SSR1 professor SP-1 in size:
18x85 +45 front and rear and 18x9.5 +55 SL the same lip size is 2.32" and I want to order the same tires like JOHNS2K (Toyo Proxes T1-S 225/40/18 Front 245/35/18 Rear) from tirerack.
Would that fit on my SSR professor SP1 ????

It should fit those wheel widths just fine.

Please post pics. I want to get these wheels in 17" sizing.

If you are not slammed...I much rather you go:

225/40/18
255/35/18

When I say slammed...you better not be less than a loose 1 finger gap between the top of the tread and the rear fender.

I am running 255/35/18 on 18x8.5 +50mm.

If you have at least a tight 2 finger gap...you should be o.k..

Unicron,
The problem is I don't know if I have to finger gap before I put those tires on my wheels (coming soon )
That is the reason for this post here. Did anyone has an idea if that fits on our S2000 with a 9.5x18 +55 offset) !
I don't want to order the tires and than find out that it will not fit on my new SSR with this +55 offset.

How many fingers can you fit between your stock tire and the top of the rear fender? Your fingers should be parallel to the ground.

rear Stock wheel/tire check:
1 finger - don't go 255
tight 2 finger - pushing the limits

A loose 2 fingers sounds promising.

Now there are other factors that will determine if you will rub or not...

1. How stiff are the springs you are riding on.
2. How much you weigh and if you are dominately driving the car with only you in it.
3. How aggresive you drive.
4. How wide the tread width is on your tires.

Here are my answers to the questions...and I don't rub.

1. Comptech coil over springs fill a bit firmer than stock.
2. I wiegh only 130, and mainly drive the car alone. My gf wieghs 110.
3. I drive moderately aggresive.
4. The toyo t1-S 255/35/18 has a small tread width
