Default SSR Professor MS3R

I was searching for wheels for my S2000 and noticed SSR released a new wheel, the Professor MS3R. I'm having trouble deciphering their sizing. The have 17" wheels listed with 54mm offset, but then the codes SL NR MD HP with a seperate measurement. Not sure what it means. They seem to indicate, super low disk, normal disk, medium disk and hyper disk, but what does that mean?

Will these wheels fit in a 17x8/17x8.5 up front and a 17x9/17x9.5 out back? WIll the wheel face be sunk into the wheel or protrude? The site indicates wheel disk sticks out from wheel rim with Rim depth 32mm. Do the unknown numbers I mentioned indicate rim depth?

Thanks,

Here you go. http://www.more-japan.com/blogs/2011...he-disk-types/

The numbers in the grey area gives you the lip size.

Hyper Disk gives you the most clearance for big brake kits, has the deepest center where your lugs go.

Next comes Medium Disk, and then Normal disk. The spokes come closer to the brake calipers, the area where your lug goes decreases in depth.

The Super Low Disk will have the spokes closest to your calipers, have the most shallow center.

This will help as well.

The least amount of work to get your fronts to fit look like 17x8 +49 with a 225/45/17 which sits square or 215/45/17 for a slight stretch. You can also go for 17x8.5 +55 245/40/17 that sits square or go for 225/45/17 for a slight stretch. The problem I have is it's a SL disk so I don't if the spokes will hit your calipers.

For the rear 17x9 +49 I'd go with a 255/40 and may have to roll your fenders, shave the rear bumper, relocate the bumper tab. If you put 245/40 with that setup you can probably get away without modding your rears. If you want a 17x9.5 +43 a 255/40 can fit but will require more fender work and you will need to add more negative camber. A 245/40 can also work and will not require as much negative camber as a 255/40. And then again I hope there's enough clearance in the back where your spokes won't hit your rear calipers.
