SSR GTV series.
Came across these guys, looks like a new release.

I especially like the GTV02, and they come in 17x9 +45. Looks like I found my new track wheels.
Priced pretty well too. Thoughts?

Was looking at these a couple days ago. Looks nice. Non forged wheels. Wonder what the street price will be. If this was priced about the same as rpf01 I would get these instead. Or the Weds tc105n.

Good design and offset, should clear a lot of BBKS. I would try to find weight on the wheels, that hasn't been released. I believe they are going to be heavier than RPF1, TC105N and closer to PF01. The newer Japanese wheel standards are requiring a bunch of the new wheels to heavier due to the stricter Japanese standards. But overall a good wheel and decent price. I believe these are roll formed, which is very similar to MAT from Enkei and AMF from WEDS.

I personally am looking forward to seeing these wheels become available.

I've seen multiple failures, including catastrophic ones:
That was only a couple weeks ago (and occurred in a 100+ mph turn by the way).
I understand why people put up with it for wheels that are cheap and in difficult sizes (e.g., the 17x10 6ULRs), but SSR are too expensive to deal with that garbage.
I would buy a set of NT03 as ugly track wheels, and save the pretty SSR for the street. But good luck to you. Those are my thoughts.

For the $500+ per wheel that SSR charges, I would expect true forged wheels (none of that rotary forged marketing BS). It's the same as Advan and what they charge for wheels and the fact that you're still getting cast wheels.
A set of cast wheels should not cost more than $1400 - and we're talking 17x10s here for that price.
I'd much rather do Enkei Kojins at less than half the price, or pony up and get CCWs - you get forged wheels for a little under the price point of Rays or Volks.

Thanks for the advice. I'm seeing $360 for the 17x9, looks like 19x10.5 is $500, but that is not really a size i'm looking at.
Unless you were talking about the GTF01, which is a true forged wheel. The GTV01/02/03 is the flow form/rotary forged stuff.
