Default SSR fitment question

I bought a set of SSR Type F's from Tire Rack a couple of years ago I believe in the following sizes: 17x7.5 +48 and 17x8.5 +58. Are the sizes stamped anywhere on the rim? The sticker that came with them was removed.

Issue: I am running 215/255 RE-11's currently but due to an increase in HP I need to bump the rears to 275 and the front's to 245 or 255.

Conditions: I want the tires to fit, I am not willing to run excess camber or use an ill-fitting tire to get there. Would it be possible to put my 8.5's on the front with a 245/255 tire and buy a set of 17x9.5 +65 to run the 275 on the rear? I wanted a set of 6ulr's but they live in the same household as unicorns. I am currently running at least a 2 finger gap lowered on coilovers and am willing to raise as necessary. Fenders are virgin, but would be willing to roll/pull if necessary assuming I could find a reputable shop to take care of it. Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you.

You should have no problem running the 17x8.5 +58 in the front with a 245 and the 9.5 +65 should clear 275. There are a couple members running 265 star specs on the 9.5+65 and starspecs run wide so they are similar to running 275 from other manufacturers

I forgot to mention I have a knock off front fender that adds +30mm from what I understand. I'm not sure if I will be able to even run the stock fender liner now. I'm wondering if I will be wide enough in the front with 245's on the 17x8.5 +58 or not now? I prefer the top of the wheel to end at the top of the fender and the rest of the wheel/tire to drape down outside of the fender somewhat when looking from the rear. If the Star specs tread width are approximately equal to a 275 then I could consider them along with a 245 equivalent front tire.

Looking on Tire Rack I'm thinking the 235/40x17 might be better than the 245/40x17 because the 235's are 2 pounds lighter per tire at the cost of .2". Ideally I would like the handling to be as neutral as possible. Not sure how the .2" per tire would effect the equation. So 235/40 front and 265/40 rear?

Just need to figure out whether I should get 235 or 245 17" Star Spec then ready to order.

With an 17x8.5 +58 you can run stock fenders and not rub. If an 8.5 +51 sits flush with an OEM fender and you install 30mm fenders you are going to have a gap of 37mm. You can run a 245/40 in the front and it will sit square with the 8.5" wheel. Try putting them in the front and you will see how they fit with your oem fenders. A 235/40 tire will be a shorter tire and make look a little off if you try to put a 275 in the back.

Sounds good, ordering the 265/40 245/40 and see how that turns out. Thanks.
