Square set up with 245/245 - using 4 Rear AP2 wheels
#11
Great choice. I ran the AP2V1 rear square setup with 255 RS-3's for two years, autox and on the street. It was an excellent setup for the summer months, but left a bit to be desired on the colder/wetter days. I would bet your staggered set of Star Specs would outrun your non-staggered RS-3's on a wet or cold day.
Now my square AP2V1 setup has Hoosiers mounted on them... talk about a blast!

Whoops, sorry for the late response. Yes, I had two of the wheels bored out to fit the front (didn't use spacers). I've been on so many suspension setups I can't keep track of them all anymore... but basically when I was lowered a bit more than I really should have been and on a softer spring, then my fronts would rub the fender liner under hard cornering. That was on the Koni/Swift Spec R setup. When I was on Buddy Club N+ I was about the same ride height but no rubbing due to the stiffer springs and higher damping. Definitely no rubbing when at stock height, and no rubbing currently on my HKS setup, which is really stiff. So if you have a stiffer suspension setup then I would expect little to no rubbing when lowered.
