I am looking to put a set of Spoon Brakes behind my Mugen Mf10's WHat are the ups and downs of running a spacer? What spacer would I need?
Front specs of wheel are 17x7.5 +52 offset

There are no "ups" and "downs" of using a spacer, other than the fact that you might need extended wheel studs (Which cost money) and your wheels will be pushed out for either aesthetic appeal or BBK clearance.
Luckily the MF10 has a convex spoke pattern so you shouldn't require more than a 10MM spacer, which shouldn't require extended studs.
Extended studs are recommended on anything past 10MM and are "required" on anything past 15MM.
