I don't know what kind of logic would tell you that if 45 aspect ratio is appropriate for 215 fronts that it's "OK" for 245 rears.

245/45-17 would be an inch too tall. 245/40-17 or 255/40-17 rears. Please...

Speed rating doesn't necessarily have anything to do with handling. If you think a W-rated tire is grippier than a V-rated tire, you've got the wrong idea. All the speed rating means is that the tire will survive that speed without overheating. There are plenty of higher-speed-rated all seasons that won't grip as well as a V-rated Max or Extreme performance tire.

especially in a car such as ours wwhich can exhibit power oversteer.
"Power oversteer" isn't that big a concern in an S, except in 1st gear. Lift-throttle oversteer, on the other hand...

If you change the speed rating it must be all four tires must be same, don't mix and match different speed ratings.
You can mix speed ratings as long as the tires you get are similar in performance characteristics (again, speed rating isn't a grip or performance rating, it only indicates what speed the tire is qualified to run without risk of failure due to heat, centrifugal force, etc. from operating at that speed).

Realistically, a V-rating (149mph) is going to be fine for the S.

No not for the fronts I mean the rear tires, I was wondering if tires sized 245-45-17 95W would be ok to use? The fronts I always use 215-45-17 87W's.

ZDan you are correct, I was not referring to the actual rubber compound but to the construction of the carcass of the tire, hence the speed rating. I have seen and heard of problems when people mismatch tires front and rear, let alone side to side....

There are also less informed tire salesman and dealers in business today than before...
