I wouldn't do it yourself less the car is a beater. It entails heating up the paint so it doesn't crack. You only have to do it once, get it done right.17"s are a lot less expensive that 18"s and if ya get the proper offsets,no fender rolling necessary.Better research before doing anything.

I have 17's already, but i want 18's in black. And yes you are right, I do not want to screw anything up. I was talking to the dude from the site I am about to order the wheels, and he told me that they guarantee fitments. But I told him that Im like 1 inch dropped, and he told me that would be a different story then. Dont know what to do.. I dont want to drive around in my freaking spare all year.

The manual is in the secret compartment.

255/35-18's will fit in back.
It's the fronts that are going to be close.
Might go 215/40-18.
Any case, 225/40 fronts would look too big with 245/35 rears (just like 225/45s look too big with 245/40s on17s).

Oh yeah, personally I'd go with 17's...
And of course picking the right tire for your wants/needs/usage is the most important thing (after making sure to only run the spare up front!).

I also think the front tires are not sounding right. But when I talked to them they guarantee fitment. Should I get 215s instead of 225s in the front?

Oh yeah and the spare tire is already on the front.

Edit : The offset for the front is 45+ not 43+ I confirmed with Axis. Would this be good enough for 225/40 up front??
