Default Spare tire question.

I messed up my rear tire so i need a new one. I don't really want to spend 160 on the new tire because I want to upgrade to 18s and Im looking at the Axis Halos 18x8.5 Front and 18X9.5 rear. I found a website really cheap that is an authorized dealer for Axis. I don't know if I could say the site here but the staggered package is $1500 with 225/40/18 front and 255/35/18 rear. They have the offsets listed as HPO. I called Axis and they told me that the offsets are 43+ Front and 50+ rear. I've been reading some threads and i've seen that you need to relocate the fender?? What exactly is this? Would I need to that with this setup? I'm not feeling the rear tire size though. from what I been reading, they do not sound right. What do you guys think? Should i upgrade to 18's or just upgrade my 4 tires to the right size? And how long can i drive on my spare tire? Thanks in advance and sorry for all the questioning.

If you read the owners manual.....your suppose to put the spare on the front and then put one of the fronts on the rear where the flat is.

As far as your Axis Halo's you, you'll need to roll all the fenders, I would run 225/40/18 front, 245/35/18 in the rear, and you'll need to run more negative camber.

Fender roll is when you roll the inner lip of the fender up. It creates a few more mm's of clearance inside the fender. You can do it yourself, just rent a fender roller. Better yet, find someone in your area that has done it. 245's gonna give you just a little more room to work with.
