I recently checked the air pressure in my spare tire, and I admit, that I have not checked it in a long time. I found it dangerously low on air pressure, so I filled it to the 60 psi recommended.

When is the last time you checked your spare tire air pressure?

 

I always carry an air compressor, so I don't check With that said, if you do not carry an air compressor, it should be checked every few months IMO.

 

I have worked our Street Survival School and we check the PSI in the spares and they are always low.
I guess you never check until it is needed and too late.
