Default spacer help...

ok so it is my understanding that the the ap1 factory wheels have a 65mm offst in the rear and a 55mm offset in the front. Now im not in the market for new wheels at the moment so i was wondering if i were to fo a set of spacers what would be the best size to get the most flushness outta the factory wheels. Im not goin for poke or anything just somethin to fill the gap a little. I was thinking 5-10mm in the front and about 15-20mm in the rear but am unsure if those are too extreme or not and i dont wanna roll fenders either. Im currently on Skunk2 prings and am running 205/55 in the front and 225/50 in the rear. Lmk cuz im sick of seing the the rear wheels sit so far in....

I think you're right.
There's a thread on here somewhere about spacers.

For ap2 wheels someone did 25 rear and 15 front for flush.

I'm not sure exactly what size is right for ap1 but the offsets for the wheels are the same I think so it should be true for both types.

Good luck

it just seem that 25mm would just bee too big and cause the wheel to poke out a little too much...but i could be wrong i just wish i could see some pics of this to kno for sure before i go and buy them!

https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/858...on-stock-rims/

there are also a few more threads on the topic.

some advice: search for whatever you have a question about + s2ki on google.
for example "s2000 oem wheel spacers s2ki"
youll get a lot of answers that way and you will leave less room for ppl to flame you.

when i first joined i thought the users were just being pricks but once youre on here long enough, youll notice the same things get asked over and over again.

good luck on your quest for flushness.

Spacing out wheels on a AP1 rim may cause a need for shaving the studs, research it.

Spacers + Flushness + Not rolling fenders... Not sure on that. You can do 25mm all the way around on AP1's if you're low enough with rolled fenders. Skunk2 springs would be close, all depends on your camber.

Have them rolled professionally, otherwise with the Skunk2 springs you have and adding spacers on AP1's you're going to lip the front fenders out at some point and I'm surprised you haven't done that already. If done correctly you could never tell it was done without physically feeling in behind the fender and you'll never lip one out pulling into an elevated lot or a driveway while turning.

You will rub over large bumps with a 20mm spacer in back on stock tires. That said, 15mm in the front seems ok for the most part though. I had this setup a while back and decided just to ditch the spacers rather than roll my fenders.
