Default So I wanna run....

So I want to run a 225/40/18 all around for my tire set up with my wheels. The thing is that with that size someone who has the same wheels as me stated that -3 camber in the rear was need. Now I dont know if thats due to the wheels being 18 +38 that camber is need or can I change up the tire size so no camber is needed in the rear. Fitment info came from this post: https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/103...3-18x938-sold/

What exactly are your wheel specs?

If you look at the pics in the link, he is actually running a 245/35 rear.

Same as the post 18x8 +33 front and 18x9 +38 rear. I already have rolled fenders and 1" drop. So will I have to adjust camber regardless of tire size?

You don't ever WANT to run 225 width tires all around.

Glad Nate caught that it was 245/35 rear before I went and bought tires.

I'd go with a 215/40 front to match the 245/35 rear. Keeps stock diameter/stagger and will give you a little more clearance in front which you are going to need with 8" +33.

Of course running a narrower tire will give you more clearance but I would not recommend anything less than 245. -3 camber really isn't that extreme and you will be in that range anyway if your car is significantly lowered. It's just part of the territory when running a flush setup. If your choice is a 245 tire and -3 camber or 225 tire and -2 camber then I think the answer is obvious.

Ok cool planned on getting the camber but just wanted to know if there was a setup I could have went with until I got the camber adjusted. As I'm trying to decide if its something I want to attempt or take to a shop. Thanks though will def run the 215's upfront
