Default SO-3 245 rears

a recent post suggested using 245 width SO-3's for the rear --
wondering if any of you have done this and what is the result?
The post reasoned that the stock SO-2's are wider than the 225 designation suggests and that the 245s more equally match the stock OEM rears.

You know my opinion!

Just do it!!

I'm willing to bet that most of the complaints about the S03 are coming from owners with the 225/50 S03 on the rear. A taller sidewall and a narrower tread width could create some problems...... No doubt!

I just ordered 245/45s S03s for the rear. I'll let you know how they feel. I currently have 245/45 Toyo RA1s for the rear and they work great.

thanks for the response
the 03's in 225 width are a bit unstable in curves, etc. they tend to slide a bit, which the OEM 02's did not (dry conditions in both cases) .. the OEM 02's in wet is another story,
